This philosophy is where our name, “Arkivian” originated, which derives meaning from both the word “Ark”, a store or safeguarding of items and knowledge of societal value and importance, as well as being a combination of the words “archive” and “vision” - a reference to the idea of facilitating progress and building on cumulative works and inspirations of society.
